The Development of a Standardized Test Question

This week I am setting on a review committee where we look at standardized test questions and decide whether to accept, revise, or reject the questions. I personally enjoy this professional development opportunity. If you ever get to sit on a committee such as this, I strongly encourage it. The development of a standardized test question is interesting to me and having the opportunity to be apart of the development process will ultimately help you have a better understanding of the the testing process. Gaining this insight can also help you better prepare your students for your state's standardized tests.
