Tardies Policy

Important daily lessons begin immediately each morning. Tardies interfere with the teaching and learning of all students by disrupting the classroom environment. Students are considered tardy after the 2nd bell has rung in the morning at 8:00 a.m. Students who are tardy must report to the office for a tardy slip before they are admitted to class. Students changing classes will be considered tardy, if they are not in their assigned classroom when the tardy bell rings. After 5 tardies, an unexcused absence will be assigned to the student. Each additional tardy will also result in 3 served detention times for the student.
